PROJECT MANAGER

HelpGood seeks a purpose-driven and experienced Project Manager who can work independently, partner with clients, develop and help implement strategies and tactics that will improve our staff and client experience on a project. We thrive on helping clients uncover strategic insights, develop plans to best achieve their mission, and then act on those plans. 

This position will oversee project management on multiple projects across LA and NY offices. 

This role could be based in NY an option to work remotely several days a week. Office is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact with clients addressing immediate and long term needs. 
  • Oversee deliverables and lead client status calls and internal project meetings.
  • Ensure projects are on-time and on-budget. 
  • Facilitate a steady flow of communications with team members and clients to manage expectations and priorities. 
  • Drive successful relationships with a large portfolio of clients. Always looking to increase value for the client while not over-taxing staff. 
  • Lead internal project management systems to ensure efficiency across platforms. 
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain a master timeline for projects using Asana.
  • Work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment running an “air traffic control” for the agency.
  • Some travel to client/vendor offsite.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a true love for organization, wrangling timelines and budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, marketing, business administration or related area.
  • 3 years of related experience in an agency environment in client management, account services or project management. 
  • Certification as a PMP preferred.
  • Asana expert preferred
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools like G Suite, Box, Asana, and Smartsheets.
  • Familiarity with Time Tracking tools like Harvest. 
  • Capable of partnering and communicating with clients effectively with confidence – strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly and engaging style and demeanor, with strong motivation and professionalism
  • Can operate and lead in situations where the path forward is unclear – you can chart the course forward.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, multi-tasker who manages challenges effectively.
  • Understanding of and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong interest in social issues.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

SALARY RANGE

  • $80 – $90,000 per year.
