About the Content Producer position

HelpGood seeks a purpose-driven and experienced full time Content Producer. The ideal person will love to work independently and in close collaboration with team members. You will partner with clients to develop and help implement content strategies and tactics that will improve marketing and communications efforts. You will help them better connect, engage and activate their audiences. All the members of our team are veritable Swiss Army knives; they are curious, clear, confident, proactive, independent thinkers and doers. 

This role is based in LA, mostly remote: the LA team meets once a week at a co-working space. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This position reports to the Chief Creative Officer. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategies and concepts for social series, activations, email series and donor communications. 
  • Copywriting for clients editorial and campaign needs which includes: ads, social posts, emails, materials, and other assets. 
  • Community management needs such as comment moderation and publishing.
  • Influencer marketing tasks: strategy, outreach, contracts and management. 
  • Image creation working with designers or in Canva. 
  • Personal project management within the standards of HelpGood’s larger project management process. This includes the use and upkeep of Asana and internal and external communications across email, slack, Asana, zoom etc.
  • Minimal travel, some local client/vendor offsite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English or design preferred. 
  • 1-2 years of related experience in marketing and media experience, influencer marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools like G Suite, Slack and Asana.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suites, Meta, IG, Twitter, Sprout and social calendars. 
  • Capable of partnering and communicating with clients effectively with confidence – strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly and engaging style and demeanor, with strong motivation and professionalism.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong interest in social issues.

Salary Range

  • $70,000 per year.
